HRT (Hormone replacement therapy) consists of either feminizing (estrogen) or masculinizing (testosterone) hormones. Many transgender people take hormone therapy as part of a gender transition to help their bodies and appearance align with their gender identity.

Mental Health Services offers a wide range of essential support, encompassing traditional therapy, psychiatry, BH specialties, psychological testing, and supportive group sessions. These are conducted by compassionate and knowledgeable providers who prioritize gender affirmation. Additionally, therapists can provide letters for transition-related necessities such as surgeries, hormone treatments, and more.

Gender-affirming Surgeries, or gender-confirmation surgeries, are medical procedures performed to align an individual's physical appearance with their gender identity. This includes laser hair removal and surgeries such as top, bottom, facial, and other procedures.

Out-of-State HRT care for Minors

Following the Supreme Court's decision enabling Idaho to enforce its ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth, we've created a nearby out-of-state guide for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Despite this setback, we remain steadfast in our commitment to advocating for the rights of transgender youth. We will continue to fight tirelessly to ensure that all transgender individuals have access to the medical care they need and deserve.
